2025 LJCC POLAR PLUNGE

​Are you ready for the 4th annual Polar Bear Plunge?!?  What is a Polar Bear Plunge? Individuals will raise pledges to jump into the frigid waters of Lake James to raise money for the Treesh Memorial Scholarship Fund, which enables students to come to camp. Our Polar Bear Plunge is not for the faint of heart. Those courageous souls, (some might say crazy) who splash their way into icy cold winter waters can claim they are ‘freezin’ for a reason’. This event will definitely bring warmth to your heart, as well as a chill to your toes. Everyone is welcome to come fellowship, eat snack foods, sit by a warm fire, and watch some crazy people jump into the frigid water!  We are sure to have a great time as we help students come to know Christ better this summer! COST: No Cost - Participants should download our sponsor Pledge Spreadsheet. The form allows you to record sponsors to donate toward our Treesh Scholarship fund, which helps kids come to summer camp!
AGES: 12 and up, anyone UNDER 18 must have parental consent

If you are interested in plunging into the frigid waters there are a couple of steps you must take. First, register online using the button below. Second, download and print the Pledge Spreadsheet so you can record your sponsors and their pledges! Your sponsors can either send you with a check (written to the camp) OR direct them to this page to donate online OR scan the QR code on the Pledge Spreadsheet to donate online. Third, you must sign the liability waiver and bring it with you to the event. All of the paperwork can be found below.
