2025 HORSE CAMPS

PARENT RESOURCES
Description of Horse Camps:  At each session of horse camp, the camper will learn what it takes to keep and maintain a horse. They also will learn how to saddle & ride a horse around the 20-acre farm and then the care that takes place after the ride is over. Our hope is that this will not just be a horse camp and a farm experience, but that your camper will come home a little closer to God and knowing more about Jesus.

Typical Day: The day will start with learning to do the chores of the animals we have at the farm that includes Miss Piggy, Henry & Trixie our miniature horses and the others we use for the summer. Breakfast will then be served along with a morning devotion. There will be class time about horses and Bible study, focusing on the camp theme. There will be crafts for some, games and swimming along with some onsite water experiences. At the end of each day, there will be a gathering around the old campfire for some life stories about how Jesus has made a difference in the life of those helping for the week.

ENTERING GRADES 4 AND 5
Check-In at 4:30 pm in the Chapel @ Main Camp; parents will then transport their camper and gear to the Camp Farm after check-in. Parents are invited to arrive by 5:30pm at the Camp Farm on check-out day to observe what their camper learned during camp.  Check-Out at 6 pm at the Camp Farm.

NEW! DUDE RANCH
ENTERING GRADES 6 - 8
Come spend a week on the Homestead with Grandma & Grandpa Hart. There will be a chance to help Grandpa with special projects, you will learn about blacksmithing, leather working and hunting tips. You will enjoy going swimming, fishing, games, night time adventures and horse back riding! There will also be Bible lessons to help you with your spiritual growth. We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Check-in is Sunday, 4:30pm at the Main Camp. Check-out is Friday, 6pm at the Homestead.
