ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Julie Gariss’ goal as a speaker is to make you agree with her own description of herself and therefore to think: “I can relate to her. She’s not so attractive as to be distracting, not so young as to imagine she knows everything, not so old that she can’t remember what she knows, and as down home as anyone could want!” But far more important, she wants to present Christ and the Scriptures truthfully, gracefully, and God-willing, powerfully.
Julie and Randy had a thirty-three year ministry with College Heights Christian Church in Joplin, Missouri, where Randy was the preaching minister. Upon retiring from that job, they co-directed the Life and Ministry Preparation Center at Ozark Christian College where they taught, mentored and discipled students for nine years. Somewhat retired now, they still live in Joplin, Missouri and have three children, eleven grandchildren, one dog, and a really blessed life.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Worship, Campfire, Workshops, Fun and Games, and A Lot of Laughs as we spend time with ladies of all ages we love! Come prepared to study, to laugh and to grow.
RETREAT COORDINATORS: This annual retreat is sponsored by the Assembly of Christian Women, the women's auxiliary of the camp. They meet monthly March-October and help support the camp in MANY ways! Most recently the ACW used donated funds to remodel the camp lobby! (Stay tuned for pictures!) Each year at the Ladies Retreat they sponsor a Silent Auction. We are in need of donated Gift Baskets for the “Silent Auction”. Gather with some friends or your church and donate a cleverly themed gift basket. Bring extra money to bid on the baskets! Money from the auction will go to the Assembly of Christian Women (ACW). The ACW will use this money for camp upgrades and needs.
