INSPIRE INITIATIVE
LET'S TAKE THE LEAP OF FAITH!
The past four years, our Board of Directors and Staff have been on a faithful journey to strategically advance the camp as we approach our 100-year anniversary in 2029. Through prayer and planning, we are moving forward in faith to improve and update our current facilities through the Inspire Initiative.

Inspire is at the heart of our Mission, Vision, and Values. At first glance, the word inspire means to influence, move, or guide by divine action. It can also be defined as God-breathed. With your help, through the Inspire Initiative, we will reach the next generation of campers for Jesus.

We have identified three main areas that need immediate attention:
  • ​The Dorms
  • Maintenance Building
  • The Chapel
INSPIRING GROWTH
Check out our plans for NEW sleeping Lodges!
Through the Inspire Initiative, we plan to build four new sleeping lodges to replace our current dorms. Two 1-story lodges will be built to accommodate 32 guests each. Two 2-story lodges will be built to accommodate 64 guests each. All four lodges will expand our year-round bed count from 189 beds to 308 beds. The new lodges will support growth with quality lodging that will give LJCC the space to accommodate a wide range of campers and guests. 

New lodges will necessitate relocating and acquiring a new Maintenance Building. 

Chapel renovations will include moving restrooms to the inside, proper insulation installed, and the roof replaced. 

We are at an EPIC moment in the history of the camp. Here are some ways you can help.
  1. Pray about your involvement in the Inspire Initiative. Come to one of our Nights of Inspiration to learn more about investing financially in the future of the camp.
  2. Pray about serving at camp. New growth necessitates more opportunities to serve. 
  3. Pray for our board, staff, and their families that they would continue to stay united.
