Healthy Church Certificate

This is in collaboration with the camp, Jim Estep from Lincoln Christian Institute and Cedar Creek Church. It is open to men and women (high school age and older) in the church who desire to gain personal and spiritual growth as well as those who desire an enhanced leadership role within their church, ministry, mission, or workplace.
Taking all 4 classes earns the participant the "Healthy Church Certificate"

  • January 13, 2024: "Healthy Church Dynamics" with Dr. Jim Estep
  • May 18, 2024: "Strategic Planning" with Dr. Silas McCormick
  • July 13, 2024: "Leading Change, Managing Conflict" with Dr. Jim Estep
  • September 21, 2024: "Philippians for Leaders" with Dr. Jim Estep
Description of "Paul's Letter to Leaders:  Philippians"Paul wrote only one letter addressed to the "overseers and deacons" . . . Philippians.  Why?  What was Paul's message to the congregation and specifically to the leaders seated among them?  As the letter was read for the first time, how would those overseers and deacons have heard it, and applied it?  This seminar will survey the eight principles Paul raises to not only every Christian, but specifically the leadership of the church at Philippi . .   and for today's church leaders as we seek to faithfully serve Jesus.  What's the take away?  Having a more thorough understanding of the role, function, and ministry of church leaders in today's congregations.
